Colour Q - cQc #104 Challenge

I really loved the Colour Q challenge this week, they inspired me to use a wheel stamp I have been admiring for a while. The new Henry Wheel has so many possibilities, now it's just figuring them out.

I clear embossed the sentiment, I think it was the longest decision I had to make. I tried so many other ways but nothing gave the result I wanted.

This is the first part to this Sundays card. It is colouring a design with ink pads and a blending pen.

To add this onto the video on Sunday would extend the video past the available time.

Sunday Stamp-a-Long 25/9/11

Well I must say for this Sunday Stamp-a-Long I discovered too late that I had forgotten to show the stamp sets at the start of the video...Oops my bad.

I have written them onto the video, but when I release the instructions they will all be listed there. The instructions for this card are still about a week away, I have been flat out and need to allocate some time to write them out.

       

WooHoo I Won :)

I have won my first ever card challenge, and it was through The Paper Players. It is an awesome feeling, I have only entered a few challenges, but to be selected is great.

Lovin' The Aviary

I have only just got this stamp set not long back, and I have loved it since seeing it. I had to really think of a design that my class would love and I would be happy teaching. I was happy with the result and lucky for me it suited this weeks challenge The Paper Players

Sunday Stamp-a-Long 18/9/11

When making this card I wanted to do the colour palette for the ColorQ challenge. However once I started the video, I didn't really like the poppy parade so I deleted it and kept the card Temping Turquoise, Basic Grey and Whisper White.

So many things went wrong while doing this card, it was like it wasn't meant to be.

ColorLab Color Challenge #54

I created this card for the ColorLab challenge.

I used the stamp set Summer Solstice which I received yesterday, and love it. I also decided to use the Occasions Alphabet, after saying to a friend that I really needed to get it out and use it. On the best side, I think my class on Thursdays will like this one (they love a lot of ink) which is fantastic because so do I. 

HSS Fall Themed Challenge Entry #84

I love oranges and dark browns together, so when I saw the HSS Fall Themed Challenge I knew it was one that I would love creating a card to suit the theme. On the upside one of my classes absolutely loved it as well, which made me happy, they will be making it next term.

I used an Pumpkin Pie and Early Espresso combination in combination with the Simply Soft stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Sunday Stamp-a-Long 11/9/11

Well time for another Stamp-a-Long....yay

This card was so fast to make and a lot of fun. I love a card that requires no thinking at all, you just do it and it's done. Once again I used my favorite Hostess Stamp Set Precious Butterflies, and the Simply Soft set as well. I just love these sets for this year.

 

Cupcake Fun

I have had the cupcake punch and Create a Cupcake stamp set for a while, and as much as I wanted to use it, I could never think of what to do with it. I have finally come up with a simple card, that is available for classes or workshops.

ColorLab Color Challenge #53

I decided to try the colour challenge ColorLab just to give it a try.

I used a stamp set (Day Of Gratitude) that I received as a gift from a friend, not sure how old it is but it is one of my new favorites. I know it isn't in the Australian catty this year but somewhere others will have it, so why not demonstrate something with it.

My Father's Day Gift

This is a homemade favor box that I made for my dad. I am not a real believer in mothers or fathers day, I feel that it is just a way for store to make money, so we decided to make a gift instead.

The stamp was is not from Stampin' Up!, but it suited the BBQ we are having tomorrow for lunch. All the other supplies are from Stampin' Up. It has been coloured with the Stampin Write markers (rough, but not bad for my first time), on watercolour paper.

My Goodie Hoard

Well I love getting new stamps, and mine have arrived. I was in the middle of making Sundays Stamp-a-Long video when the post man brought me my big bundle of love. I am so happy right now.
