Retired Stamp Set Designs

I will be making a few cards and displaying them using retired stamp sets. I love some of the retired sets, and I would hate for them to be shelved and hidden from the world, so I have decided that many people own them and if not they are obtainable if desired.

I will have a page accessible from the sidebar that will have my retired card designs, but all cards will be available to be purchased as Pre-Stamped Card Kits.

I love this card, when it was made I didn't realize that the jumbo brads were become retired. Precious Butterflies is becoming my favorite stamp set.

Sunday Stamp-a-Long 25/8/11 - Mid-Week

This card was a huge rush, I am so far behind on my class cards. The shirt on the card was inspired by one I found at My Paper Moose. I needed to change it from inches to cm and make it a little larger to fit on my card.

Sunday Stamp-a-Long 21/8/11

Well another Sunday already, the videos are proving a little more of a challenge than I expected. I tried with natural light the other day and it came out a little better, but I prefer to do my stamping at night (when the kidlets have gone to bed), so for now this will have to do.

I am planning a mid video release this week to assist some of my class members. I will be making a fathers day card, and then next Sunday another fathers day card using the pennant punch. I figured that I would need to make one for my dad and another for the kids to give their dad.

Sunday Stamp-a-Long 14/8/11

This week I have chosen to do a kids card. I figured that seeing I have a card I need to make, why not take advantage of the situation. I am still learning when it comes to making the videos, so please bear with me and I will get better (I hope).

I brought the circle cutter from Stampin' Up! and it has been looking at me wanting to be used, however I didn't have the time or the space to clean a spot and get it out. Things in my office are now becoming a little cleaner and it now has a space all to itself, meaning I get to finally have a play with it...yay

Here is the first of many cards I will be making from this handy cutter.

I may use this in an upcoming class, I am still a little undecided. If I do add this to my lesson plan a YouTube tutorial may be added for this card.
